Vintage Style Paper Flowers

VINTAGE STYLE PAPER FLOWERS

w/Alicia Justus

In this class, taught by the very talented Alicia Justus

of Red Star Art, you will learn to make vintage style

flowers from crepe paper using 1920's patterns and

other vintage flower making elements. Your bouquet

will compliment your spring decor and make a perfect

addition to any vase or vintage bottle. How about

custom wedding flowers?

Lampshade Romance

LAMPSHADE ROMANCE

by Christina Kuntz

Christina will provide each student with a wire

lampshade frame, the canvas for this creative project.

Learn how to turn this simple piece of scrap into your

own art original! An assortment of Romantic, vintage

elements will be provided. Such as lace & trims, burlap

& other fabrics, flowers (See Class for April 11th),

charms, crystals, keys, buttons, vintage photo's, etc.

Your shade can be added to a lamp or converted into a

hanging candlier by adding a chained votive cup.

The possibilites are endless!

Open Studio Workshop

OPEN STUDIO WORKSHOP

w/Kimberly Poloson

In this workshop you will be exploring a variety

of different techniques for creating texture,

dimension and layers to achieve a distressed

vintage look. Kim will share her unique

techniques and encourage you to

explore your own hidden talents.

Come dressed in your grubs or smock.

Workshop includes: 2-16"x20" masonite boards,

paint, glue, texture paste, sandpaper & tools,

latex gloves, vintage ephemera, buttons, ribbons

& an assortment of art papers.

*Bring your own sack-lunch.

Additional creative elements will be available

for purchase if you so desire.

Fabric Flowers

FABRIC FLOWERS

From Rag Ribbon & Scraps

Taught by Momma, herself (Christina Kuntz)

In this unique class, you will learn to make

an assortment of different style fabric flowers

from rag ribbon, lace, vintage buttons and scraps.

These flowers can be used to embellish frames,

lampshades (See class for May 5th),

curtains & pillows, as hair accessories,

brooches or to embellish clothing.

Even as a bow on a gift box.

You will be able to turn your pieces into hair clips

or brooches to take home with you along with the

knowledge to create more on your own.

All materials will be provided to take home

3 completed pieces.
