Halloween at The Queen Bee!

My studio pal and partner - Missy Moore, and I,
just returned from a workshop we taught at the wonderful
Queen Bee Art Cottage and Retreat in Olympia, WA.
We thought we had died and gone to heaven
from the moment we pulled down the
long wooded driveway to the cute as a button, cottage.
We had our camera's out and ready to capture every bit
of creative beauty we came across.
And believe me, there was plenty!
These women did not miss a single opportunity
to add their special touch of magic.
Decorative touches galore! Chick Flick library!
Art supplies for every craft!
Feather beds and pillows! Snacks and beverages! And much more!
Here's some of what we found at The Queen Bee:

Now here's what we did:
 Some of the supplies.
 Ghoulish Grub!
That's JoNell (One of our hostesses) on the left of her friend who is displaying her finished hat.
 Another finished piece!
Ingrid with part of her gauntlet.
 How cute are these two?
JoNell turned her hat into a pumpkin on a platter! So original!
 Marit's hat was stunning!
 How about this spooky specticle?
Kim on the right (Our other hostess and the birthday girl) with Marit,
modeling their finished necklaces.
Here's a close-up of Kim's necklace.

I can't thank these ladies enough for such a fantastic weekend!
Rumor has it that we'll be back for a Mardi Gras workshop.
Can't wait.
xoxo, Chris/Momma & Missy
